The MFB-project, which started in 2013, is making significant progress. HAAGEN was selected as the fire training design expert for the new state-of-the-art training centre. The new training centre will provide a range of emergency response and management learning environments where all kinds of emergency scenarios can be simulated for the training and education of safety workers.
Major milestone: Sign-off on several prop buildings by Energy Safe Victoria (ESV)
Throughout December, HAAGEN has strongly focused on the installation of the ‘fire props’ during the quiet Christmas period. During this period, we have managed to achieve a great progress in the installation of the fire props. An important milestone in this process, is the sign-off on various training buildings with fire sources.
Whilst the full ESV sign-off program is not yet complete, the initial sign-off allows the filling of the new propane bulk storage tank which supplies fuel to the fire points within the practical training zone buildings. This in turn allows the commencement of commissioning of the fire points within the training props under actual training conditions.
This is an important first step in the progress of this wonderful project .
HAAGEN will continue with their work during February and March focuses on the delivery and handover of the completed facility in late March.
