HAAGEN is pleased to announce they have been awarded the Prop Contractor role within the MPSS Fire Training Centre Project for the Ministry of Public Safety and Security of South Korea. HAAGEN will design, manufacture, deliver, test and commission a variety of training props based on class A and class B fire simulators. The project will also include two afterburner systems for clean carbonaceous training, making this a premiere of clean live fire training technologies in South Korea.
The MPSS Fire Training Center will be located in a unique mountainous area and will include enough accommodation facilities that allow groups of trainees to set up base for longer periods and embark in complex training trajectories.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, and is managed by Hyundai Engineering & Construction in the role of Main Contractor.
“The MPSS Fire Training Centre is the first large scale multi-disciplinary emergency training center in South Korea. With the extensive array of emergency training scenarios included in the design, this center can potentially play an instrumental role in establishing a unified fire and emergency training standard at national level in South Korea.” (Arnaud Lefebvre, Director Training Solutions).
